Jon is NOT engaged.
At least according to his eye roll and head shake.
When the father of eight was asked if he was getting married to 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman, that was his reaction.
Either he’s telling the truth, or he’s getting good at evading the paparrazzi’s questions.
I keep flip-flopping between whose side I’m on, and this week the winner is Jon.
Probably because so many are siding with Kate because Jon is not wallowing in a room with the curtains drawn drowning his sorrows over the demise of his marriage.
People reports a source close to Jon said, “Jon was heartbroken, totally heartbroken. Kate told him to take a hike.”
Apparently, Kate told him “it’s over” and he took refuge at the Glassman’s house — and Hailey happened to be visiting her plastic surgeon dad and mom.
The two became close, and a source close to Jon maintains that Jon never cheated on Kate and did not start dating until Kate filed divorce papers.
I’m hoping for a new reality show that pits Hailey against Kate — in the ring.
Kate has those shredded arms and judging from her character, would fight dirty.
Hailey has youth on her side, and looks like she’s kinda tough in her mug shot.
I picture it going something like this:
“In this corner, wearing the red shorts and sporting the cockatoo do, the original octo-mom and reigning roost master Kate Gosselin.”
“And, in this corner wearing the red bikini and challenging Kate for the rights to boss around Jon Gosselin – spoiled little wild child and possible stepmom Hailey Glassman.”
“Let’s get ready to…”
There would be no shortage of viewers — it could be a lucrative pay-per-view event.
Women would watch to see someone finally shut Kate up with a smackdown.
And men would watch, because, well, because it’s two chicks fighting.
To really get the male demographic, just add mud.
Voila… The highest rated TV show of the year.
The problem may be getting Hailey to participate.
Would Kate show?
Absolutely.
As long as she gets a cut of the profits.
It’s for the kids, of course.
