GOONS BREAK INTO HOMES

Goons broke into two homes in North Cornwall Township recently, township police said.
Police did not say whether the cases are related.
The goons swiped jewelry from the master bedroom of a home on Walden Road on Sept. 25, after they forced open a side door, police said. The victim is Matthew Stover, 43.
On Daffodil Drive between Sept. 25 and Sept. 27, the goons kicked in a rear door on a home, but they did not take anything from the home, police said. The victim is Paul Wengert, 53. Damage to the door is estimated at $500.

Vehicle travels into creek
A vehicle driven by Sandra Bedleyoung, 52, of Valley View, went out of control on a curve, traveled down an embankment and into a shallow creek, and struck the embankment on the opposite side of the creek on Fearnot Road at Maple Street in Hubley Township on Aug. 28, state police at Schuylkill Haven said.
Bedleyoung suffered a moderate injury, and she was transported by Hegins EMS to Hershey Medical Center.

Vehicles collide at intersection
Vehicles driven by Pauline Pestrock, 78, of Hershey, and Kirby Michael, 58, of Palmyra, were in an accident at Cherry Street and Forge Road in Palmyra on Sept. 25, borough police said.

Driver cited after accident
Vehicles driven by Joseph Gonzalez Jr., 17, of York Haven, and Angela Krall, 32, of Fredericksburg, were in an accident on West Main Street in Palmyra on Sept. 26, borough police said.
Gonzalez was cited with driving vehicles at safe speeds.

Punk pours white paint on vehicle
A loser poured white paint on a vehicle on North Railroad Street in Palmyra on Sept. 27, borough police said.
The victim is Jason Halbleib, 26.

Vehicle hits two guardrails
A vehicle driven by Theresa Linnenbach, 23, of Mechanicsburg, struck two guardrails on Old Jonestown Road in Swatara Township on Sept. 27, state police at Jonestown said.
Linnenbach suffered a minor injury.
Bunker Hill Fire and Fire Police, and Fort Indiantown Gap Ambulance responded.

Vehicle overturns onto roof
A vehicle driven by Jonathon Ferron, 18, of Williamstown, struck a culvert and overturned onto its roof on Gold Mine Road in Cold Spring Township on Sept. 27, state police at Jonestown said.
Ferron suffered a minor injury.

Vehicle strikes stone retaining wall
A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy, of Cleona, went out of control on a wet surface and struck a stone retaining wall on Dairy Road near Walnut Street in North Cornwall Township on Sept. 26, township police said.
