Which is your fav team? My husband says you are an Eagles’ fan, but I say you have too much class to be one.
HAIR DOC: I am classy; yep, I love the boys in green (and sometimes black or white). I have been an Eagles fan for a long time. I am excited for this season. I hope that they can use Vick in a positive manner. Since I have tons of class, I will be eating Bon-Bons and wearing my “bedazzle” encrusted jersey during every game!

Do you like using green as a nail color?
HAIR DOC: Yeah, I like green. It is it the color of victory!

My wife is a Cowboys’ fan. What should I do?
HAIR DOC: Divorce. I’m just kidding. I like a good competitive marriage. It makes watching games fun, but in all seriousness, you really should leave her.

My husband is a loser when it comes to football. Last year, he actually painted his hair black and gold for a Steelers’ preseason game. It took days to wash it out completely. I was embarrassed. What the best way to temporarily color your hair?
HAIR DOC: They make colored gel that washes out. And they make it in any team color you want. They sell it at your local beauty supply store.

Who do you think is the hottest football player (and don’t say David Beckham because that’s soccer)?
HAIR DOC: Well that counts. Football is “football” in Europe. I think that Beck still has a shot. I have no idea who would be the hottest football player; they wear helmets, silly.

I hate football, but my husband spends 12-18 hours a weekend watching it. He’s a slug during the season. What should I do? How do I get him off his (expletive) and get him to work around the house?
HAIR DOC: Did you ever hear of the word “nap.” It’s great you should try it. HE can’t say a word if he is being lazy.

What’s your favorite type of belt?

HAIR DOC: I like a wide stretchy belt. you can wear them over T-shirts or dress them up and wear them over a dress. They come in all different colors and sizes.

I was in the store with my husband the other day, and he mocked me for the type of shoe I was looking at. He said the heel was “too chunky.” What types of shoes do you like?
HAIR DOC: Too chunky. I personally don’t like chunky — unless its on a pair if boots and the heel should not be more than 2 inches. I am into really pretty heels that have no purpose. They are like art. and definitely no comfort. Those are the ones you buy and never ever wear but your proud to own them.

My hair isn’t growing back. I eat proteins, fruits and work out every day. Unfortunately, my nose and ear hair are still growing. Is this anything I could do?
HAIR DOC: OK, I’m laughing. sorry. I would say buy a razor or nose hair trimmer. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about the “creepy” hairs growing. they are determined little buggers. The hair could be a medical condition you should ask your doctor at your next visit. Make sure your taking your vitamins.

During this football season, I have decided to go shopping every Sunday. If you had to choose one store to shop for clothes, which store would you pick?
HAIR DOC: I love the bargain stores — T.J. Maxx, Burlington, Ross and other stores like that. What’s fun is if your going to go every Sunday they get new stuff in all the time. These stores are fun if you have a lot of time to spend “digging.”

(Myerstown Herald columnist) Molly Davis picks on Kate Gosselin and her hair all the time. Molly’s mean. If you were Kate’s stylist and fashion coordinator, what would you do?
HAIR DOC: I agree with Molly. I did see Kate on the new People magazine and her hair looks half-decent. I am glad that she got rid of the reversed mullet. You know things are bad when they make a Halloween wig out of your style. I wonder if the wig comes with the extra accessories of a skeezy husband and his skeezy girlfriends.

My daughter is 14 and she’s going to be dating soon. What outfit would you recommend for her? I guess she wants to be stylish, but we don’t want to send the wrong message.
HAIR DOC: The girls today at 14 look totally different than we did at 14. The clothes out right now are actually cute. I have a 12 year old and we had to do the whole school shopping thing. It was really fun. There are some great stores out there for teens. Good luck!
Kara, were you a cheerleader? Would you do it again?
HAIR DOC: Yea, I was a rah-rah, shish-cum bagh! I think if I had to do it again I would. I only cheered for basketball. I liked the tumbling part of cheering. I would have done gymnastics if we had a team at that time. It really is a great work out. And it is a sport. we worked out butts off!

I’ve just did back to school shopping with my daughter. The bill was astronomical. When I was a kid, my mother had me in worst outfits because she was cheap. Next year, how can I save money and have my daughter look cool?
HAIR DOC: Tell her not to grow. I am right there with you with the bill. I feel your pain. I think the best time to go is after school starts or the weeks before school starts. They have great sales.

Rumor has it that you have a Web site. Is that true?
HAIR DOC: Yep, www.heygorgeoushair.net. I just got it up and running it is not ready yet. It is a work in progress. I wish I had the time to work on it. I think it will be really cool when its finished.
