POLICE: 2 HAD DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Two people allegedly had possession of drug paraphernalia and diminutive residue of drugs in the parking area of the Conservative Baptist Brethren Church on East Chestnut Street in Frystown on Sept. 4, Bethel Township, Berks County, police said.
The suspects, Todd Rittel, 23, and a 16-year-old boy, both of Myerstown, were charged with disorderly conduct.

Vehicle strikes mailbox stand
A vehicle struck a mailbox stand on Meckville Road near Frystown Road in Bethel Township, Berks County, on Sept. 22, and kept going, township police said.
The vehicle is described as a silver foreign-made full-size sports passenger vehicle, police said.
The victim is Lucille Brubaker, 61.

Vehicle hits utility pole
A vehicle driven by Luann Sellard, 44, of Palmyra, struck a utility pole on East Maple Street at South Prince Street in Palmyra on Sept. 24, borough police said.
Sellard was transported to HMCER for evaluation.
